Card Catalog Drawer Pulls

Anyone that knows me, knows I have a slight obsession with funky drawer knobs and pulls.  I have a TON in my basement collecting dust, and I will never get rid of them!  I’m a self confessed drawer knob hoarder, and I don’t care.  The right knob can make or a break a piece.

Take this awesome secretary.  I just refinished it in a coat of House&Canvas Barn Door Red, then 2 coats of Shadow.  A light distressing allows for the red to pop through, along with the natural oak colored wood.  So pretty, but it was definitely missing something.  Hardware!

I debated adding some cute knobs, but they just weren’t working, so I hopped on amazon and ordered one of my most favourite go-to- hardware styles…. Library card cataogue pulls.  I got 30 for just $17 bucks!!

They came within 24 hours and are absolutely perfect for this piece.

I may be dating myself, but I totally had one of these old school card catalogs in my elementary school library.  I would die to find one now for my home.  They are so cool.
